Happy National donut day!

Happy National Donut Day!

How crazy is this?  On our way in the 'ol N-Van, we hit one hundred and eleven thousand, one hundred and eleven miles.  All while our gas range was at 222 miles.  So crazy.  We took a photo.  Because of course we did.

I told the kids that they could choose one activity and one eating out adventure for the summer.  Gabriel wanted to go mini-golfing, and lucky for us, that activity is on the kids honor roll discount.  We got 50% off!  It was such a cool little place, too.  There was a pirate ship (that had a putt putt hole ON the ship!), and the place was in super great repair.  We had a good time.

This was theme of the day; Oliver using his club like a baseball bat.
On the way home, we hit Gabriel's eat-out choice (always Chick-fil-A), and then hit a donut shop in St Augustine on the way home.  It was a place called Itty Bitty Donuts.  We thought they were about half the size of a regular donut, but they were about a quarter of the size!  We got cookies and cream and powdered with raspberry glaze.  For tiny donuts, they were incredible!

Dave and his true love: donuts.

It was a happy day and a good kick off to our summer!
